I’m Bobby Strange — a Catholic author with a heart for storytelling and a deep love for the truths of the faith.
What I Write
My work spans both fiction and nonfiction. Through novels, I explore the raw, redemptive edges of human suffering, grace, and spiritual growth. In my nonfiction books, I open up the stories of Scripture and the teachings of the Catholic Church — helping readers see the beauty, coherence, and depth of our faith, especially in contrast to common Protestant misunderstandings.
Who I Write For
I write for the soul that’s searching — whether that search is happening through the quiet ache of a character on the page or through a question sparked by the Bible or the Catechism. I believe good storytelling and sound theology can work together to draw us closer to Christ and His Church.
The Lens of My Work
The Catholic faith isn’t just a subject I write about. It’s the lens through which I see everything: suffering, family, truth, mercy, and mystery. Whether I’m writing fiction or breaking open Scripture, my goal is the same — to speak to the heart and stir it toward something eternal. Whether I’m writing fiction or Scripture reflections, my goal is the same — to speak to the heart and stir it toward something eternal. You can explore my work as a Catholic author storyteller on my Books page.
If that’s what you’re looking for, welcome. I’m glad you’re here.
