I didn’t start writing because I thought I had something important to say. I started writing because I had something I couldn’t ignore — questions that kept tugging at me, truths that needed wrestling with, and a faith that refused to stay quiet.
Some of those questions came through suffering. Some came through prayer. And others came through life’s ordinary moments — the kind that seem small until you realize God was present in them all along.
At first, writing was just a way to process it. A way to hold things up to the light and ask, Where is God in this? Over time, that private journaling turned into stories. Then into books. Then into a calling.
Fiction That Reaches the Soul
My fiction isn’t about escaping reality — it’s about confronting it. The characters I write are often ordinary people, living ordinary lives, but facing deeply spiritual battles: grief, despair, hidden wounds, unanswered prayers. And yet, grace always finds its way in — sometimes quietly, sometimes through fire. But it comes.
I believe fiction can soften the heart in a way straight teaching often can’t. It allows us to step inside another person’s soul for a while and, in doing so, come face-to-face with our own.
The Faith That Grounds It All
Alongside fiction, I’ve also written books that explore Scripture and Catholic teaching — especially the beautiful, often-misunderstood truths of our faith. I care deeply about clarity. About showing how Catholicism is not only rooted in Scripture but rich with meaning, continuity, and grace. I also don’t shy away from the differences between Catholic and Protestant beliefs — not to divide, but to invite deeper understanding.
Because at the heart of it all is a Church that’s not just ancient, but alive. A faith that’s not just intellectual, but personal.
Why I Keep Writing
I write because we need more than noise — we need meaning. We need stories that heal. We need truth spoken in love. We need reminders that God is still present in the mess and the mystery, and that suffering is never the end of the story.
If you’ve found your way here, maybe you’re looking for the same things I was when I started: something honest. Something sacred. Something real.
You’re in the right place. I’m glad you’re here.
Let’s walk this road together — one story, one truth, one act of faith at a time.
